Bogey
We adopted Bogey as a 3 month old kitten in 2005 from the Sacramento Animal Control. He is the life of any party and a social butterfly. He is very loving and friendly. He is in charge of all pet beds in the house and the other pets know if he is sleeping in a bed do not bother him. :)
Ramona
Ramona came to us in Dec 2012 as a foster cat that was expecting kittens around Christmas. Well Christmas came and went and so did the new year but still no kittens. Come to find out Ramona had a bad uterus infection and was not actually pregnant. Well she was so scared of people that she was not adoptable through the rescue we fostered for, so she stayed with us and over the last year she has learned to love being pet but still to feral to be picked up so we are now her permanent home.
This sweet little girl is very playful with her toys and is very unique with as her paws each have an extra toe.
Zoey
The little dog wonder, who loves to chase squirrel and tennis balls. She loves to cuddle under blankets and to de-stuff and toy, and has been a great addition to our family!
This sweet little girl quickly stole Sylvia's hearts and is her best buddy and side kick.
Zoey came to live with is on August 15th 2009 and was a 1 1/2 old pure breed Beagle.
Kloey
Kloey came to us as a foster in 2010 and after being with us for one day we knew she was meant to be with our family! No other foster was ever able to snuggle with Zoey in her bed but Kloey was welcomed with open paws by Zoey. Kloey has a heart of gold and a mothering instinct like no other. When Kloey first came to us it looked like she has just had a litter of puppies but no one will ever know since she was a rescue from a CA high kill animal shelter. We are so glad she was saved and she has warmed all our hearts!
We estimate Kloey was a 1 1/2 when she came to us and we guess that she is Jack Russel/ Dachshund mix.
Joey
Joey is a little rascal for sure, he is a snuggle bug but still a puppy at play and at heart. Joey came to us as an 8 week old puppy foster August of 2012. A few weeks later Joey got Parvo which is a highly deadly intestinal virus that most puppies do not survive. But with lots of medical care and many hours/days of IV care here at home with he was able to recover. He then got a secondary bacterial infection in his intestines a few weeks after recovering from Parvo. Joey had many people who wanted to adopt him but the amount of love and affection that we gave him and he gave us there was no way to not make him part of the family. So over a year later and many destroyed items and a few additional large vet bills he is wonderful part of our family.
We believe Joey to be Italian Greyhound / Dachshund mix.
Paco
There is also Paco who is Grandma Betty's cat who really loves to be outside and only comes home when it is too cold or no one else in the surrounding blocks will feed him. He is loved by many of our neighbors.
